In celebration of our 135th Anniversary in 2022, we created a series of digital art pieces with the support of Mr Anthony Cheung for our exhibition “Medicine and Healthcare Through the Lens of Digital Art”.

The exhibition was curated to honour the illustrious history, achievements, and human impact of HKUMed through the lens of artistic interpretation. In spotlighting the intricacies in the artful practice of medicine, we hoped to introduce our audiences to the oft-morbid and artistic beauty in the most life-altering circumstances of illness and disease; Beyond celebrating our research, the selected works also highlighted the countless lives that had been touched by our ethos of health betterment.

All this was brought together and presented in the form of digital art, a new frontier at the time for the artistic community.

為慶祝港大醫學院135週年，承蒙鍾棋偉先生支持，舉辦「醫光研影2022：醫學數位藝術展」，展出一系列以醫學研究為題的全新數位藝術品。

醫學，本是科學與藝術交融的美學。「醫光研影」旨在讓您透過藝術角度，回顧港大醫學院的輝煌醫研成就，並體會科學家們的努力結晶，曾造福及觸動多少生命。除了帶您感受療癒技術之美，我們還希望看官可從中領會到醫學從疾病疫症手中拯救病患，並帶來曙光的力量。際此，我們亦希望向無數受惠的人的堅強生命力舉杯慶賀。
